Introduction to Calculus and Advanced Math (40S) 

Pre/Co-requisite: Math (40S): Pre-Calculus

This advanced math course will help students prepare for university mathematics.  It is a recommended option for students that are required to take Calculus or other advanced mathematics in their first year at university. The course covers the basic introductory calculus topics: limits, derivative rules, derivative applications, related rates and integration techniques.   Other major topics include statistics, probability, matrices, complex and imaginary numbers, and conic sections.
