W.C. Miller Collegiate

              
           

Students at W.C. Miller have the opportunity to offset additional school fees through fundraising.  Fees associated with sports, music, and school clothing (including grad hoodies), can be paid using fundraising dollars.  Safe Grad activities cannot be paid for with fundraising dollars.  

W.C. Miller Collegiate has a unique fundraising model where students can fundraise to offset fees they incur through the school. The Parent Advisory Council organizes multiple grocery gift card fundraisers throughout the year. Proceeds from these fundraisers are tallied for each individual that gets involved and can be accumulated over the student's 4-year stay at W.C. Miller.

When students/parents would like to apply this fundraising to their school fees they may do so by contacting the office or printing and signing the following form:

If a student has funds remaining when they graduate from W.C. Miller, they can transfer them to an incoming sibling or donate them back to the school legacy fund for future projects.

Students receive up to 6% of the value of the gift cards they sell from the Sobeys/IGA head office and our local IGA is contributing an additional 2% bringing the total percentage for students up to 8% of their gift card sales.  Thank you to IGA of Altona for this generous support.  

Gift cards can be redeemed in the following stores: Sobeys, Safeway, IGA, IGA extra, Garden Market IGA, Foodland, Price Chopper in Ontario, FreshCo, Chalo! FreshCo, Thrifty Foods, Lawton's Drugs, Needs and Fast Fuel. Gift Cards are accepted only in these locations in B.C. V0C 1R0 (3) 624-9 Avenue North, Golden, BC V0A 1H0.  These cards may NOT be redeemed in Safeway Fuel, Safeway Liquor, Sobeys Liquor, and Thrifty Foods Liquor. 

Students receive 10% of the value of the Co-op GROCERY gift cards that they sell. Cards cannot be redeemed for gas or hardware.  COOP gift cards can only be used at the Altona grocery location.
